Clear beach, should really wear water shoes otherwise all the rocks would be too spiky to step on.
I saw that before high tide time (before 5pm), lots of people get out of the restricted swimming area to swim, but there will be announcements once the tide was about to come, and once it does, water rises really fast so better stick to the restricted are.
There are two shower facilities at both end of the beach and they close at 6:30 pm so if you want to shower, should get there by the time. It takes 3 medals for 4 minutes of water and you have to exchange for the medals at the Marine House next to it, we made a mistake of putting three 100 yen coins in the shower machine and the machine didn’t work, I got the coins returned but my friend got his lost inside the machine and even the manager at the facility couldn’t find it, so we lost 300 yen.
The beach js in front of the Nikko Alivia resort, but it’s a public beach after all and everyone can use it, but I can tell that since it was far from the center, not many people go there actually, so there are plenty of space to swim around.

You’re not supposed to swim anywhere beyond the net, so there’s not much room left for a good swim. Not the best place for snorkeling either. They do have some good water sports options. There’s a lifeguard on duty from around 9 am to 5 pm. Not sure one is so essential in such a narrow shallow...
