Lad Koh Viewpoint is an easy stopping point between Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach to get a coastal overview on the east side of Samui. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the viewpoint and places along the upper level walkway for a quick selfie if you're in a hurry. If you have some time to spend, it's worth exploring the multiple walkways that take you down the hillside. You'll be rewarded for taking this trek with some even better viewpoints. You can also get out onto the craggy rocks for some great pics & 'escape' from the upper section that can be filled with lots of people just doing the drive-by 🤳.

This is one spot not to be missed in Samui! One of the nicest view from the upper hill area and stunning view. It is a very peaceful area, refreshments are available and not to miss the ice cream truck. The coconut sandwich was exceptional and really tasty. The owner of the ice cream truck is very kind and friendly and she offers a selection of toppings that you can enjoy either with cup ice cream or waffle. Only challenge is the car park is not big, maybe 4 to 5 cars slots. Enjoy the view and ice cream.

Nice view with great trees to shade and this might be the only view point for free not been sold to a restaurant or a 5 stars hotel on the island... It s very tiny though but it s worth... There s no free shading green park on this island... This might be the only one i know as i ve been driving in the whole island more than 4x... You have sitting places under the trees and cars and scooter parkings as well. All for free. During the day time ; there's a great icecream truck.

As part of guided tour, worth going to see. From the view point you see a number of islands. As part of the tour you get to go to the local town and waterfall where you can elephant trek. Guided tour under taken by happy samui, who were very good. There is a shrine there and locals hoot there Horn 3 times as a sign of respect to the shrine and the trees. They believe the trees have spirits and protecting nature. It's beautiful to see and understand the history.

What a stunning and impressive view. You should go there and take some time. There are some parking lots which you can use. We drive there by motorbike and this was a good idea. Furthermore you have to eat there ice cream. There is a small local van, where a lovely women sells here home made ice cream for which is made from 100% coconut. The scoop costs 30 THB and for sure, I ate 4 scoops of this delicious mouthwatering ice cream.

For me, I really like rocks, and this spot had em! Along with a great view. I'd love to come back with a couple of beers from the nearby 7-Eleven and just relax on the rocks while enjoying the view. If you can come during a nice dry day you can explore along the shore. The rocks are dangerous (so be cautious) but fun to climb around. DO NOT try to swim here, shallow rocky water with waves can be very dangerous.
