We came here to have some lunch and found a small lunch menu (plastic card) with reasonable prices (150-200 BHT for a meal eg fried rice with chicken etc). Then the staff came and told us that they first want to clean the table and thereby removed the lunch menu card which was not put back. Actually the table was perfectly clean and already set for 2 personal. After we were seated they gave us a different menu with much higher prices. We asked for the menu which was removed from the table. The staff (woman in fluent Emglish) brought us again another menu but it was again not the same menu as before and extremely overpriced meals (thai curry starting around 800 BHT). This is far beyond everything I saw on whole Samui in man different Restaurants we went. Again we asked for the menu which was on the table in the beginning but they did not react so we left because we felt very uncomfortable at that time as we realized they are trying to rip us off. I advise everyone to avoid this place. It is extremely overpriced and they are treating the tourists as cash cows. Btw we then ate at the little stall at the other side of the beach. It was very tasty and the people were...
Read moreCame here twice while we stayed at Sheraton. Everything was okay the first time we came here. The service was quick and food was prepared quickly. The second time we came here, it was a disaster. No one brought us menu after we waited for 5 mins. I waved to any waitress/waiter I saw and no one seemed to see us. Then I had to go to the bar tender to ask for a menu. Then they gave me a Chinese version menu, which was different from the English version(they brought us the English menu the first time we came). Chefs special and Mexican food are not on the Chinese version. When I asked the server, she told me that Chinese don’t like Mexican food. I don’t know if it is discrimination. But I don’t feel comfortable. Besides this, the food was so slow this time. We waited for at least 25 mins. When I wanted to pay, no one is coming here for the bill and I had to go to the bartender again to pay the bill. I understand there are a lot of people dining during noon time. But then you should hire more people! And This will be the last time we visit...
Read moreI know Samui is a little more expensive than the mainland & I understand but to detail a meal as Fried sundried pork & to serve what was predominantly fatty slithers is disrespectful to the beast & customers. The cuts were so thin & fatty that it was like they were unwanted offcuts meant to discarded. Also if the chef intends to serve such stingy cuts they should at least render the fat. Some of the slithers were just...
