Musée de la ville de Vianden — Attraction in Vianden

Very lovely little museum that tells more about Vianden history, and a section that recreates a home I think from the 19th century. I was particularly taken with the top floor exhibit about the US soldiers and the Vianden Miliz: small but touching and for €3 I think well worth it to understand how even small places like these can play an important role in world history. Superb experience, I visited the museum the same day I visited the castle. The museum is quite small, I spend about 30 min inside but it's very educative and has a nice way of displaying the history and paintings. Quite some "open setup"...

Mag dieses alte Museum, wie der alte Holzboden knurrt beim drüber gehen, diese alte Möbel wie zurück in die Zeit versetzt ,und in den meisten Zimmern kann man alte luxemburgische Lieder hören, mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail, schön gepflegt,leider sind noch nicht alle Zimmer vollständig neu in stand gesetzt (verschlossen), was sehr schade war , dafür werde ich sicherlich nächstes Jahr wieder kommen um es meine Tochter zu zeigen, der hat das Museum auch sehr gefallen, die Dame am Empfang war sehr nett und Willkommen,habe mich...
