Ancien Cinéma Café Club — Restaurant in Vianden

We came across this quirky place completely by chance. It has a bohemian vibe, the owners definitely had a vision and made it happen in a spectacular way. A bit of a mixture if Brick Lane pub, old school Warsaw venue, this place has got it's own charm and style, different to the rest if town.

The food was nice, we had schnitzels.

The concept of keeping your customers occupied by giving them a quiz to play whilst waiting is a genius idea.

Book corner, live movie screen and a stage for small gigs - little hub of artistic and intellectual creativity.

Even though some reviewers may have complained about lack of service, or poor service, we have not felt that way. We were greeted with smile, had a nice conversation before eating and after, and refreshingly we were not pestered by constantly being asked if everything was ok. We could eat in peace and enjoy the positive vibe of this...

Excellent design! But that you can find anywhere else... With the exception of the polite waitress who was on her 2nd day of working there, all the rest were dreadful! We were waiting for our order for 90 minutes and in the end we had to leave because i had to provide food for my kids!! At my complaints, they responded that others are also waiting (!!!). During our staying we also noticed that the tables next to us received incorrect orders or half of the initial order.... I' m not sure if the management has changed, because i had been treated well in the past, but this one will never...

We went in the evening.

The food was from an outside source. The pizza was probably the worst pizza I've ever had. Even worse than the cheap ones from the supermarket! My friends pizza was also awful - not as bad. I got the 'Meat your Parents' and she just got a cheese one.

The man running it was lovely but we found it hard to get his attention after getting our food

The iced latte I was made started to disappear because it was mainly froth.

The place is very cute with some nice touches.

I think it will be a different vibe in the mornings with the lovely...
