Head North Paddle (Stand Up Paddle Kota Kinabalu) — Attraction in Borneo

This is borderline scam. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We had planned our weekend in Kota Kinabalu meticulously and had everything arranged. We were so excited to try the Night Glow Paddle Boarding with LED lights. Unfortunately, they canceled the tour one hour before stating it was too windy. This was frustrating for multiple reasons:

Firstly, they canceled so short notice that we weren't able to rebook with another tour provider.

Secondly, they completely ignored my messages which is horrible customer service/communication. We were left sitting in our hotel room waiting for replies that never came.

Thirdly, the excuse for cancellation was completely fabricated: First of all, a bit of wind is no big deal and second of all we ended up going to the same beach for a swim after sunset instead and it was not windy whatsoever. Why do they feel the need to lie to us? Just tell your customers the real reason and don't cancel so short notice next time. Or an even better idea: Don't offer night glow paddle boarding on this platform if you're not going to end up doing it after all. This is misleading and disappointing for your clients who book the tour and schedule their vacation accordingly.

And lastly: Even though they canceled our tour short notice, ignored our messages, left us waiting on them without any reply in our hotel room the least they could do is refund the money. How can you disappoint your customers so much and then keep their money for a service you refused to give? Please refund us immediately, it's been...

very disappointing experience, they charged us 320myr for just renting a paddle boat for one and a half hours. no snorkeling, no guided tours, no four points, no guides at all. we literally paddled around the beach area for an hour and that's it. not worth it at all and their description is a scam. when we complained they told us to talk to klook for a refund but after that the operators denied the refund saying that it was a weather issue. you are better off just renting a paddle boat at the beach. so bad.

Haha and okay let talk about the so called "evidence photos" he is referring to. He himself knows these pictures were taken at like the first 5 mins of the experience. The facts are the following: was any guided tours given? - NO was there any visits to any of the points promised ? - NO did you inform us about the weather prior to starting? - NO did you provide any snorkeling at all or even bring any gears ? - NO as mentioned above we literally just paddled infront at the beach area for an hour and a half for 320MYR that are...

5-star SUPerb experience doing Stand-Up Paddling with Head North Paddle at Tanjung Aru, KK! Amazing sunset and it was a very cool experience!
