The Korean Club Restaurant is not just your ordinary eatery. This comfort of an establishment nestled in between foreign consulates next to Tanjung Aru First Beach heightens the meaning of “Location is Key”. Upon entering, you will be welcomed with the charms of Korean authenticity yet, a sense of familiarity KK-ians know all too well. The menu is vast filled with Korean delicacies that is hard to pass by, so one will decide to indulge them all. The ‘Kimchi-jjigae’ is a household staple dish, but theirs is particularly special as they incorporate their own in-house kimchi that is prepared fresh daily, which is also available for purchase. This warm stone pot packs immense flavour and just the perfect amount of spice that will get rid of any exhaustion throughout the day. Nicole’s special Bibimbap is also one to take note as Nicole, the owner, prepares it herself table side to add to the already existing homely atmosphere. One of my personal favourites is their ever-changing Banchan selection that will never cease to impress me each time with their bold flavours and ingenuity. This humble establishment is not just a place to dine in, but it is a complete experience that always make yourself ask the question, “Shall we go to The Korean Club?”.

The Korean dish i ordered, everything was great 👍. The place is half open space where we dining in door but mix with outdoor dining area which the mosquito can come in, but the staff & owner help us by placing mosquito coil. Another problem is the washroom is shared between the tour company. While I was dining, a group of tourists just back from a tour and use the restaurant washroom, which I wanted to use but was unable to do due to long queue. But still, the owner sees the situation and helps me by offering another washroom. And at the end of the day, I really do enjoy my dinner there. It was delicious 😋 but it is on the high price side, but again, their food quality do make up on it. I will be back to try another dish.

Lousy food and terrible service from the owner. Tried to scam our money and “forced” us to order meat dishes, luckily we insisted and said no. We didn’t order fish but in the receipt stated that we ordered, luckily the employee came out and told the owner we didn’t order. Food was bad. Requested for less spicy but teobokki came only with lightly coated soy sauce. If there’s 0 star, i would’ve rated 0.

My partner and I had lunch here for the first time yesterday. The restaurant is in a lovely peaceful location, near the beach in a side street where the Korean and Japanese consulates are. The building used to be a detached house and it retains a homely feel. It’s spacious, light and airy and is tastefully decorated and furnished. The rear terrace has been extended and the garden overlooks a wood. We were greeted by the friendly English speaking owner who later helped us decide what to order from the extensive and interesting menu (which was in English). The 2 fans which were thoughtfully places nearby kept us cool, as did the complimentary Korean tea, which was provided in abundance. The food arrived freshly cooked, the pork was sizzling and the owner came to suggest how we should mix the dressings into the salad. The food was delicious. We were presented with complimentary hot bean puddings for dessert which we devoured. This is an outstanding restaurant. The atmosphere, food and service are exceptional. We can’t...

Nice garden view one. But in a hot day, you can not enjoy the dining area fully air-conditioned. They receive credit cards but sometimes in no use due to mal connection, But it seems their neglect of maintenance about tele comm systems. Food portions are not generous. Their kitchen needs immediate modernization against kitchen appliances, anti fire system and most of all, hygene!!! Their bathroom is not suitable for group guests, but they seem unirritated even when it would have broken up for a long time and all dining and drinking guests start to feel uncomfortable. The service is a bit slow as usual in any local restaurant there. Food quality is good and comparing to other Korean restaurants in KK, they offer Korean food in a better and more authentic style. Drinking variety is not various but affordable for group guests but considering that Malaysia is an islamic state,...
