Tanjung Aru Beach Night Market — Attraction in Borneo

Most vendors sell the same food. Lack of variety but a good place to watch the sunset and a good place to chill out. Went there at 8pm the other day, some vendors are close making the food choice limited. I asked one of the vendors where they closed at 10pm and started cleaning up at 9pm. They need to improve the garbage. Lack of garbage cause i was having a hard time looking for the trash can. It's either very full to the brim or very far apart. In the end I had to bring the trash home. Anyway please fix the trash...

The Sunset, the Beach, the Busking and Food Stalls are just enough to make us chill till sundown (thou the place need to maintain a thorough housekeeping) but still, it can be improved (do something about it ba) like the abandoned old Food Stalls (oh I really missed the Giant Ice Kacang ooh) and the Prince Phillip Park (the Monument and the lake (sigh) kesian betul saya tengok my born place become like that ooo (who to be blamed ya?). Infested with people! Come earlier by 6pm latest or else find another spot.

Grab will take you 30 mins to crawl from the main road turning in and to reach the Drop-off point at the roundabout.

Crazy jam especially on weekends and public holidays.. Made worse by tour buses parking along the road shoulder.

Would recommend check the weather first. Only come if the sky is perfectly clear else you won't see the fireball ☀️ sink below...
