Sungai Petani — Attraction in Kedah

The train station is situated in a busy area so parking inside the station is not easy. I do not recommend parking outside the train station as it is not safe. Also, it is wise to buy your tickets online rather than at the station counter as the queue may be long if you are unlucky.

I love the ETS as it is a convenient way to travel to KL. My long journey is usually comfortable apart from some inconsiderate loud passengers which are out of everyone's control.

Price-wise, the ETS tickets are a little expensive but it is worth every penny considering who I am meeting when I arrive at my destination.

Train problems are rare for me. Having said that, there was one time where the train air-conditioning system was hot and my seat was unable to be adjusted to lean back. These 2 issues led to an uncomfortable journey from SP to KL so hopefully this does not happen often.

Tips: -the train air-conditioning system is very cold so please bring a jacket.
