My recent visit to Mixue Bukit Tinggi was a mixed bag. The experience started on a sour note, with parking being a real hassle. To make matters worse, the entrance door was missing its handle, which was hardly the best first impression. Despite these frustrations, I decided to give it a shot and ordered a large, fresh lemonade.
As I sat down, I watched the team busy preparing long lines of orders. But as time passed, my drink seemed to be forgotten. No one called my number, and it didn’t even pop up on the screen. Not wanting to be "kiasu" and jump the line, I waited, giving them the benefit of the doubt. I walked by the counter a couple of times, hoping they'd notice, but still nothing.
Finally, a worker spotted my lonely lemonade, and my number was called. It had been sitting there for a while, but at least I got it in the end. Walking out through the door that still lacked a handle, I took a sip of the lemonade—and to my surprise, it was refreshing enough to almost make up for the earlier hiccups.
In the end, the lemonade saved the day, but the overall experience could use some improvements, especially in customer service and store maintenance. Here’s hoping the branch can...
