Saturday Night Market Taman Midah — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

A busy and vibrant night market just a short walk from Taman Midah MRT station. You’ll find a plethora of local food — Malay, Indian, Chinese, Thai —I loved the scene. The crowd builds up as the night goes on, so come early if you want to avoid the chaos. So if you prefer a more relaxed stroll, come early before it turns into a full-blown street party.

Besides the night market vendors, the surrounding shops (most of it) are also open, so the entire area is packed. But with so many options, you’re definitely spoilt for choice.

Parking is a nightmare, so be prepared to walk. But all things considered, it’s easily one of the better Saturday night...

The Saturday Night Market is an awesome spot to experience the local vibe and have a great time. With an amazing variety of food and drinks, plus clothing and souvenir stalls, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is electric, with street performers and music adding to the fun. Today it rained so many stalls were not opened. This pasar malam has more food stalls. Asam Laksa, quite a few nasi lemak stalls, fried koay teaw, fruit stalls, veggie stall, fried food, soya bean drink and red bean/mung bean/lin chee kang, kuih muih with a scatterings of clothes, it gadgets, toys, socks and even a medicine man specialising in snake ointment.
