耀记瓦煲肉骨茶 — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Extremely expensive. RM68 for 2 pax - Bah Kut Teh with ribs, stomach and intestines, 2 plain rice, blanched iceberg lettuce, iced Chinese tea. Should have checked the prior reviews before patronising this place. One warning sign too was there was no menu provided and the waitress took our orders orally.

BKT soup was too sweet, but to give them credit the pork ribs were tender. For the price I would have expected a larger portion of ingredients, and with better quality too - some items like the stomach were haphazardly chopped into irregular pieces.

Atmosphere wasn’t fancy - shop was occupying a corner lot that extended itself onto the side alleyway.

First and last time...

This will be the first time and very last time I will come! Was passby there today thinking of wanna get a quick take away food. I order only 1 portion of bak kut teh with 2 rice, 1 vege. The bloody lady boss dare to charge me RM33.50 bux?

Some more go back open and eat, only have heavy taste soup and very little meat! What others fu zuk or mushrooms also not bother to give???? If you ever drive pass by here and saw this shop sign board pls accelerate and run as fast as you can!!! Avoid at...

The Bak Kut Teh stall is operated by an old couple, and they have been operating this stall for more than 25 years. I have been here more than 20 years ago, and the taste haven’t changed a bit. I like the soup which is very rich in herbal taste. The stall owner prepared the soup from the herbs they selected from the Chinese medicine shop. And the recipe is different from other stalls.
