W & ART HAIR SALON — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

I have a very mixed feeling about my experience here. I chose to try their service after seeing their promo which stated the amount RM 168 for balayage and we get to choose free hair cut / papaya treatment. However, when I got here, the price quoted was RM 358 which is almost double the price they have promoted. A haircut price is also included, my hair was at waist length, and it was trimmed to bra length. When I asked, I was told that the price they have promoted is chemical and not recommended. This is sort of catfishing/ scam customers or whatever you call it. I think it is important to state this in the promotion advertisement itself. So anyways I agreed to go with the organic colour suggested. Another issue I would like to highlight is the language/vocabulary boundary. They were unable to understand what I was trying to say, it was very challenging to get my expectations across. To add on, I requested the balayage to be done in a way that the grey hair strands are covered. She said that's not possible but persuaded me to bleach my hair which I refuse. But I somehow comprised bcz I really wanted to do balayage. So, once everything is done, suddenly when I got to the counter, the amount was RM 368. When I asked how come, oh she said my hair was long so the price is that, wrongly mentioned earlier. I mean like come on! I definitely request the team or partners to improve your customer service. Just when I am about to post this up, I saw the rude replies by the saloon admin. I think, when you do business, you should be able to accept constructive feedback. I was a bit skeptical the first time I saw my hairstylist cus I was scared if it didnt turn out the way I want. However, they changed my perspective, from the beginning of the consultation, hair stylist explained to me my hair issue, he explain properly on the options that I have, the price and also understand what I want. He gave me options and suggest treatment that will be beneficial according to my budget. Even during the process, they are very professional, they know what they are doing and how to handle my hair issue. I really love the way all the hair stylist looks very experienced. During the whole process, they offered hot drinks as well which I have never received such service from other salon. I am really comfortable & throughout the whole process. Towards the end, before they blow my hair, when my hair still wet, I was scared if my hair didn't turn up well, suddenly magic happened and my hair turn up like a model. I really love the service and the products they used are high end product. I did bleaching before and I feel the burning sensation on my scalp, but when they did bleach my hair, I feel nothing.
