Subject: Feedback on Cashier’s Service at Lotus grocery

Hi, I hope this message finds you well.

I came to Lotus today around 9:30 PM and encountered an unpleasant experience with one of your cashiers (an Indian girl, at the last counter which I believe is the staff counter, as I noticed Lotus staff using it to scan their items).

After she scanned our items and we paid, she immediately turned away and started checking her phone. She did not inform us about the plastic bag policy. When I asked for a plastic bag, her response was simply “No plastic bag,” in a rude tone, and she continued looking at her phone. Her attitude and body language felt very unprofessional and disrespectful.

I also would like to ask how come staff are allowed to use their handphones during working hours? This looks very unprofessional in front of customers. I did not raise it on the spot as I was with my family, otherwise I would have called the supervisor to make a complaint immediately.

Please consider this matter seriously to avoid similar experiences for other customers. I feel very disappointed, especially since I myself have worked as a cashier during my university days, as part-time and I know the difference between a staff member who is simply tired and one who behaves unprofessionally.

I would also like clarification does Lotus no longer provide any type of bags, or was it her personal negligence not to inform us properly?

I want to make serious complaint life or death! The product i bought i already expired and poisoning and now already admitted!! Please i find out also this tesco usually ignore the expired product expecially on baby/children product?!! Yogurt, drink, cereal, etc many got expired! And sometimes they sell in stok akhir put lower price?? Then when expired didnt put away from display??????? Furthermore the cashier is rude and slow! Got many counter but only 2 row open???? Please dont waste our time unless just close this tesco branch....

Huge supermarket in S2, which is quite convenient especially for people living in nearby houses. However, some shops in this building are not operated.

The supermarket is well arranged and quite spacious inside so shopping was pleasant. However, there were less payment counters operating during my visit, so there was quite a long queue during payment.

Overall, the place is clean, bright, well maintained and well organized. The toilets here were clean as well. Lots of...
