Food: I was there with my family of 5. We had the following: Strawberry scones Chicken mushroom pie Blueberry cheesecake Teh tarik (hot, less sugar) Teh tarik float (hot, less sugar)

The strawberry scones are less than ideal in my opinion. It is harder and doesn't really have the fragrance of butter compared to a normal scone. Besides, it's shape is a triangular one, seems like they make a large dough and cut it up like a pizza before putting it in an oven. The chicken mushroom pie is ok-ish. The crust and the filling tastes ok, probably too salty for those that are most used to a blander diet. My only complaint is that the fat used to make the pie crust is probably some sort of plant butter that leaves a coating in my mouth for a while. The blueberry cheesecake is nice, not too sweet, plenty cheesy, and the texture is sufficiently smooth. The teh tarik (with or without ice cream float) is ok, not the one with the best tea and evaporated milk, but acceptable. Though, be prepared that everything is more expensive than normal given that this is a tourist spot.

Service: Not sure what I can say here given that it is self service. I guess the only comment that I can give is that the worker there worked efficiently so the ordering process and food collection process was fast and easy. If you ordered something that takes a longer time to prepare, they will bring the food to you later when it's done.

Atmosphere: Only half of the shop is able to view the tea plantation, and it's usually crowded with people both with a table and those that just want to have a look at the nice view. So, don't expect the place to be romantic or quiet or have a personal space if your table is right next to the plantation view. Other than that, be prepared for the specialty of Cameron Highlands, flies, lots...

We stopped by Cameron Valley Tea House 2 because it’s such a popular recommendation when visiting Cameron Highlands. Many people say it’s worth visiting to enjoy the tea plantation views and shop for tea-related souvenirs. It’s true—the scenery is beautiful and very photo-worthy. However, when it comes to the food, I’d recommend managing your expectations. We ordered Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken (RM20), Spaghetti Chicken Bolognese (RM18), a Sausage Puff (RM10), and a cup of Cameron Valley Tea without milk (RM4). The total came to RM52 including 6% SST. Unfortunately, the food was quite underwhelming. The fried chicken was very hard and not juicy at all, which was disappointing. The spaghetti portion was small, with very little meat, and overall didn’t feel satisfying. The sausage puff also felt overpriced for what we got. The food wasn’t terrible, but definitely not worth the high price—they seemed more like tourist prices. As for the overall environment, it was okay. The place was very crowded, which made it a bit chaotic. Parking is a challenge, with many visitors having to park along the roadside because the available parking lots are quite limited. It’s best to have one person find a table while another queues up to order. The place is more of a semi self-service setup—you order, pay, and then wait for staff to deliver the food to your table using a number system. We didn’t go down into the tea plantation area since it required a separate entrance fee and we were short on time. If you’re coming just to relax and take photos, this place is still worth a short stop. The tea and souvenir shops next to the café have a good variety of items, although nothing really caught my eye personally. Overall, it’s a decent experience for the view, but not somewhere I’d go specifically...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Baharat Tea Valley in Cameron, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped foot into the tea plantation, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery of lush greenery and rolling hills.

The tea tasting session was a highlight of my visit. The knowledgeable staff guided us through the different tea varieties, explaining the nuances of each blend and sharing fascinating insights about the tea-making process. It was a truly educational and immersive experience that deepened my appreciation for tea.

The tea itself was exceptional. The flavors were rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. Whether it was the classic black tea or the fragrant herbal infusions, each sip was a delight to the senses. I couldn't resist purchasing some of their high-quality teas to bring home and continue enjoying these exquisite flavors.

The hospitality and warmth of the staff at Baharat Tea Valley were commendable. They were attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that every visitor had a memorable experience. The well-maintained facilities and serene ambiance added to the overall charm of the place.

One thing to note is that the plantation can get quite busy, especially during weekends and holidays. However, despite the crowds, the staff managed everything efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of visitors.

If you're a tea enthusiast or simply appreciate beautiful landscapes, Baharat Tea Valley is a must-visit destination in Cameron. It offers an authentic tea experience, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of tea while enjoying the stunning surroundings. I highly recommend this place for a unique and...

At the end of February, we visited Cameron Valley Tea House 2 and was blown away by the stunning view. It is located in a prime spot with a panoramic view of the tea plantation, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The atmosphere was peaceful and serene, and I found myself completely immersed in the beauty of the surroundings. The tea drinks were just as impressive as the view. The menu had a great selection of teas, ranging from classic Teh Tarik, to more exotic blend like the Teh Tarik Durian. The tea was expertly brewed and served at the perfect temperature, with a rich and complex flavour that was both satisfying and refreshing. Unfortunately, the desserts didn't quite live up to the high standard set by the drinks and the view. While they looked beautiful, the taste was somewhat underwhelming. The cakes and pastries were dry and lacked flavour, which was a bit of a let-down. The strawberry cheesecake especially, tasted like it has been sitting in the chiller a few days and about to go bad. Despite the mediocre desserts, I would still highly recommend visiting Cameron Valley Tea House 2 for its amazing drinks and breath-taking view. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Whether you're a tea aficionado or just looking for a place to unwind with a beautiful view, Cameron Valley Tea House 2 is definitely worth a visit. Just be sure to skip the desserts and stick to the drinks!
