I'm rating this attraction that high because to me, it's worth the trip all the way to see the beauty of this geo feature while it lasts.
We don't know when it'll be screwed by manusia yang rakus.
When I went to Kek Lok Tong I was so disappointed at the view of bukit ditarah sampai tinggal secoet as soon as I went out of the cave. What an eyesore.
Now let's get real;
This attraction is located far from the main road. If you're getting a Grab ride, you're gonna have to deal with your driver whether or not they're willing to send you all the way to the parking area or pick you up from there. Based on my experience, the drivers avoid doing so — although there was no traffic problems at all. I went on Sunday.
Besides that, the place is not safe at the moment. The platforms need some fixing.
Please avoid bringing children here until they fix the holes. Please be responsible adults.
The boat ride is not available too. Hopefully the management will reconsider the fee (it was RM25) as I think it's expensive for a short ride.
No comment on the parking fee (coz I took Grab). But based on my observation, there're lots of parking spaces available.
The entrance fee is cheap. Only RM3.
When you enter the cave, it is dark so please be careful with your steps as the ground tak rata sangat.
Please bring water when you come here to stay hydrated, it could get really sunny and kinda dusty too.
Overall, I'm not a nature person at all but subhanallah it's beautiful you...

I had the chance to visit Tasik Cermin for the first time, and it was very mesmerizing. I followed Waze to get there, and though it's tucked away, the journey was straightforward. If you're planning a trip to Ipoh, whether you're a local or an international tourist, this is definitely a hotspot you shouldn't miss.
I visited post-school holiday, so there was still a bit of a queue, but I was lucky that the crowd wasn't overwhelming. Tasik Cermin used to be an iron ore mining site, which adds a unique touch to the place. To get the citizen rate for the ticket, don't forget to bring your IC. Before you enter, you’ll walk through a mining cave that sets the tone for the adventure ahead.
Once you're there, the view is simply breathtaking. The calm, mirror-like lake nestled among cliffs is a sight to behold. I spent hours just sitting and watching people. The calm atmosphere was especially soothing during my visit, even though it was drizzling. In fact, I found the light rain added to the tranquility. Thankfully, I brought an umbrella just in case, but it didn't detract from the experience.
If you're planning to go, I recommend checking the weather beforehand if you're interested in taking a boat tour, as it can enhance the experience. But whether rain or shine, this place is a peaceful escape. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves – they capture the true beauty of...
