Mornington Hotel Soon Choon Ipoh — Hotel in Perak

This used to be my favorites hotel before MCO, but now after MCO, everything changed, I booked the room 1 week earlier, when I check in, 2 indian lady staff ask for my booking ID, I passed them my booking details and my IC(as my booking name is same as the IC) but they just said they can't find my booking,they didn't receive my booking! They don't even search for my name to check properly. After they confirmed with their manager, my booking has been transferred to Expedia, but actually booking name is still same, just the booking I'd changed, why they still can't find the booking? Then, this 2 staff speaking Tamil Infront of me for few minutes to discuss their check in thing, .. they asked for my phone number, when I'm telling them my phone number, don't even finish my number yet then they speak Tamil again, discuss for something else. Then I stop and wait them to finished their discussion in Tamil language which I can't understand at all, then she ask again my phone number, then I have to repeat all over again. This is so rude to speak their own language Infront of guest somemore we can't understand it at all! After check-in,I realized they assigned me a twin bed room, they said they received my booking is with twin bed, but what I booked from agoda is double bed! Which is 1 big bed for 2 person! U tell me that u received booking stated twin bed, do u think this is my problem?! There are 2 different room type twin bed and double bed, I paid more expensive price for double bed, twin bed is cheaper! and I'm not saying that I choose the preference for double bed,The room type I booked is STANDARD DOUBLE BED ROOM. The next day I checked out early morning around 6/7 am, the front desk staff changed shift, is a Malay girl, she don't even say any word for the whole check out process, no greetings, no thank you at all and with dirty look. I stay in this hotel couple times before, everything was great back then, even though it located far from the Ipoh town I still choose to stay here but now no more next time, I know I should not have high expection for budget hotel but the staff really need to be train well on their knowledge and how to...

We booked this hotel because it had received some good reviews. When we checked in the room was ok. The bed was facing a long window with a view which is great if there is a, seaside, city landscape like Twin towers, nice lake or scenery but unfortunately the view was another building and empty land. The beds were comfortable and the room was quite large. The bathroom and wardrobe was ok...the amenities were minimal. The air conditioning is good. It is a good hotel of your are staying overnight on the way to somewhere else and have a car.

This is where the 3 stars comes in. We left the room for dinner after check in and three was a heavy rain while we were out. When we came back the floor under under the windows was flooded with water. There was a 3 to 4 feet wet pool of water in the floor. We stayed the water up with the bath total and the rest dried up on the morning due to the air conditioner. It could have been dangerous as the guest could have slipped on the wet floor.

There is no free parking. You will have to pay the council parking fee if you want to park in front of the hotel and the staff do let you know if you don't lay you could get a summon or risk being towed. You can park in the vacant land next to the hotel. There is no assistance to help you with the luggage or to show...

Call i received ask me to straight go to toilet and check. If u said u left at the counter, why my other bottle still in the toilet??? Don’t give me stupid reason! You better call me and courier back my things or i’ll make a police report!!!

STAFF PENCURI TIDAK LAYAK DIBERI MUKA!!! Check in 2/10/2023 room 112 mornington soon choon. Stop over for a night stay. Room are spacious. Cleanliness are acceptable. Upon check out, we received a call from hotel said we left things in the toilet. So i went up to check on it. I left shower bottle. So i took it and went down back and felt so nice for that kind of service. Unfortunately, after arrived at KL and unpacked my things i just realised my other 2 shower bottles ( lush & versace) was not here. The staff STEALED it and left me the cheapest bottle. I think she/he thought i didn’t notice about the others. No wonder when i went up the staff not there and just let the door open. I guess she/he didn’t want me to recognise his/her face.
