Little Cuisine — Restaurant in Perak

Restaurant clean, food is decent (tends toward being salty), but the biggest problem I had with them was honesty.

We ordered a steamed fish for two, and asked for the smallest fish as we wanted to taste other dishes as well. They assured us that this will be the case, but when the fish arrived, it was much larger than we wanted. We made the mistake of accepting the dish as it was and finishing the food, though my dad, in his attempt to not waste food, ended up eating nothing but fish the whole night.

Upon asking the counter about this, I was informed that the kitchen didn’t have a small fish, and proceeded to cook a large one without informing the owner. As the fish was charged by weight, I do not trust that the restaurant server/owner wasn’t turning a blind eye to the situation. I asked for a discount and was given a measly RM5 off to a RM75 dinner.

Recently opened in Dec.2017. They served good quality food here for lunch and dinner. A good variety of typical Chinese cuisine. Food is cooked to please the palate without flavouring overdone. On first try, we ordered nyonya style prawns, claypot sweet potato shoots and 5-flavour tofu during dinner time. Price quite reasonable. Chinese tea was nice and fragrant. Clean , even toilet. modern design ,semi open restaurant, windy when the wind breeze from outside, lots of plants, and an aquarium full of colourful fishes, reasonable price n nice food!
