Merida's Arco del Puente is one of three surviving gates to the old colonial city of Merida. It is an ancient arch dating to 1690 and one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city. Yeah, I agree. It’s just an arch, and while it’s not anything particularly special on its own, it does add character to the street. The bright yellow also makes it stand out. My only issue is, why are they still using horses to carry people? They are right the to the arch, Tourists should stop...
