Honestly, my parents recommended me of this place, because they tried the one in chichi Suárez. Frankly, it wasn't what i expected, we ordered our beers which was two Sol's and michelada, then we ordered some appetizers. But apparently they were taking to long. We were drinking without any food on the table then we got ceviche and some fried beans. "Frijoles" We got some tortilla chips which we called tostadas in a triangle shape.
Then i ordered a Guacamole with fried octopus 🐙 even that took a long time to bring on the table, including the fried fish my mom ordered. I ended up ordering another beer 🍺 which was an Indio. It was good but still no food on table after waiting for a quite a while; i decided ordering some fish tacos with Mojo with garlic sauce. They brought the food for my parents and the fried octopus. So i decided to wait for mine and yet no fish tacos. I asked the gentleman how long and he said "its coming out right away" At this point, i knew in my gut that those fish tacos weren't put in or they took a long time put in the order. ☹️ At the end of all this i lost my appetite for waiting for a long period of time for those "Fish Tacos Mojo" we asked the check but i did manage eating some tostadas with "Habanero Tamarindo"sauce with my sprite.
We ended up asking for the Check/Bill and right before we put our cards; my dad checked it before paying and they still included the fish tacos even when it never arrived. We were infuriated, i asked a young lady to bring me the manager because no waiter wanted to come to our table and help us. Finally the gentleman came over, and told him to fix that Bill since the food never arrived.
Sorry People, for future tourists as an advice from me. Make sure you chack the receipt all the time, i am kind of disappointed how they still charge something that you waited and was never on your table but this place I didn't like it and i am not caming back here in the future when I visit my...
Read moreIt was horrible. The only good thing about the experience was the hostess at the start who gave us a tiny beer or water bottle to start.
The waiter was bad, he had no mood for work at all, Everything we asked for annoyed him. Like the salsas the other people got or napkins. Food took quite long and it was not served at the same time. We were 4 people and the last cheese plate took almost double the time than the first two dishes. The burger was soaked in so much bad cheese that it almost hurt to look at it. At the entrance they asked us about dietary restrictions and allergies but the kitchen or the waiter didn’t care. The vegetarian cheese plate with mushrooms had bacon (not written in the menu) and the tortilla with the cheese had a shrimp skin. Simply disgusting. When we told the waiter while paying about it he asked if we want to give 10 or 15 per cent of tip. The prices are steep for really bad...
Read moreWe stopped at a few restaurants on the Malecon to check out menus for vegan options. Los Mariscos did not have anything on the menu and when we asked Angel Bucaro (manager?) for a vegan option he just said 'We will make you something. We got you.' I was skeptical, the last restaurant that said that gave me tortillas topped with a couple chickpeas and iceberg lettuce. OMG Angel did not disappoint!! I was served a beautiful plate of Panuchos, Tortillas topped with beans, vegetables and pickled onions. Like I left this restaurant FULL! The service and ambiance was incredible... BTW, the non-vegan food all looked incredible too. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to go that includes your annoying vegan friend. Lol 😂 (only recommendation to the restaurant.. offer a side of guac without all the fish for the vegan/vegetarian. Not a fan of trying to pick...
