Simpson Bay Beach stands out as one of my favourite beaches in St. Maarten. Unlike many other beautiful beaches on the island, it maintains a serene atmosphere throughout the year. The water and sand are truly stunning, and its convenient location near everything adds to its appeal. Watching planes land and take off from the water is a unique and cool experience, and the occasional noise is more intriguing than bothersome. The expansive stretch of the beach is perfect for leisurely walks, but be sure to bring a hat and cover your shoulders to protect against the...

Really nice and peaceful beach away from the crowd and loudness of annoying people. If you stay in an airbnb or nearby hotel and you don't have direct access, there are plenty of roads granting public access, just don't pick a spot in front of someone's apartment of house. If you are staying at an aibnb with direct access, you are in a perfect spot. No one was loud. No one brought loud music or speakers. The beach is never crowded. The water is clear, and you...

Beautiful beach but the day we went the water was unswimmable. I live at the Jersey shore and have seen my share of rough waves and this was the Caribbean at its worst when we visited. Clear blue sky but the wind must have affected the waves. This was the side by Dinghy’s beach bar. The other side of the beach was...

Amazing beach to swim, walk and soak in the sun. Lots of different types of areas along this huge beach (Shallow, rocky, wavey and some seaweed near the end of the beach by the stairs leading to Maho beach) and not very busy. The planes take off and land which can lead it being noisey sometimes.
