De Hallen Quarter is a really awesome place day & night. I stayed at the De Hallen Hotel (4⭐️ rated boutique hotel) while in Amsterdam and having great food, and attractions almost literally at your doorstep was amazing. The hotel itself is great, the rooms are exceptionally clean, plenty of space, great amenities and a massive bathroom. The food hall is foodie's dream. Every food stall is totally different, and even though there are 2 bars, they are also very different. 1 is like a specialised cocktail bar & the other more like a casual pub feel. There are also a bunch of specialty stores as well as convention centre spaces, so there would be a rotation of exhibitions and whatnot you may be able to attend. During my stay, there was film/movie/animation exhibition in one hall and also a massive cosmetics sale event in another hall, so there was a lot to see and do without even leaving the space. Which came in handy when the autumn rain was non-stop. Outside, there were street markets stalls selling more food, fresh fruit & veggies and vintage clothes and even basic phone cases, small electronics & batteries & more.

Amazing location with a Filmhalle (for all cineme fans) and Foodhalle (for everybody who is hungry). Visited the Foodhalle and spent a few hours there browsing and checking the food and drinks - every single thing was just amazing. There is hmm 20 locations there, small kitchens with different kinds of meals - from hamburgers and pizza through pita, sushi, crazy hot dogs, tapas, sweets, vegetarian meals, lebanese vegetarian meals till fish and mussels plus there is a bar with beers and another one with drinks. Just everything you might want to choose. Everything looks delicious and is served in an elegant manner. Only thing is: get a table before ordering - that one might be tricky cause there are hundreds of people visiting that place all the time. Definately try a goats cheese baguette tapas.. it was the best surprise there ;) - as seen on photos 3 and 4.

Do yourself a favor and come here for around 1-2 hours. There's a huge food selection - both traditional dutch food and the usual Chinese, Spanish, etc. options. Thankfully the place isn't too large so you won't get lost with the many options - tour around for a couple minutes and figure out where your adventure will lead you. Grabbing a table was a bit of a challenge (had to wait for ~10 minutes). There's also a great gin bar at the center of the whole thing, with around two dozen different gin+tonic combinations which was a great place to relax at (needless to say your can bring food from any of the other stands there to accompany your gin). Can easily be a place for dinner as well. Note that it's completely indoors too which can be convenient if weather isn't optimal for walking outside.

Great place to visit. Not near the town centre so will need to use public transport to get there. Lots of different types of food to eat from bbq meats to vegetarian spring rolls and desserts. Prices are above average so you can easily spend lots of money here wanting to try all the different food! Not sure if young family friendly, probably better suited for families with older children. Can get busy around lunch and dinner time. Lots of seating available, but some tables are shared with other people. You queue up for the food you want, buy it and then bring it back to your table. You buy drinks from the bar in the middle and clean up your table afterwards. Overall good atmosphere and a nice variety of drinks available from the bar. Worth a visit.

The venue offers an impressive variety of food, with options from more than six different vendors, allowing us to sample a wide range of cuisines. Whether you're in the mood for something familiar or adventurous, there's plenty to choose from. The bar also boasts a great selection of drinks, catering to all tastes, from classic cocktails to craft beers, or bottle of wine. As the evening progresses, the atmosphere shifts to a more lively vibe, with a DJ setting the tone for a fun night. The space itself is spotless and clearly well-managed, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for both casual dining and a night out.

I would definitely recommend that you visit here. I researched things to do in Amsterdam and found this place, taxi ride here but definitely worth it. Unbelievable amount of choice of food and drinks, beer, gin, coffee, big Central bar to start then choose what you want to eat, the burger I had from the Butcher was amazing, but I'm sure there isn't a bad meal there, We also had a cheeky desert to end our meal. The place is clean plenty of seats but can be busy so might have to wait for a seat, no hardship because it's indoors and there's plenty to look at. I'd definitely recommend a visit here.
