First and for most, AMAZING employees that catered to you with PERSONALIZED service. I had the opportunity to deal with a wonderful gentleman with a man bun by the name of Brian. He took his time with me choosing which products I wanted catered to my preference, as he was very familiar with each product. I've been in Amsterdam for a week and just missed my flight yesterday and hands down this is THE BEST coffeeshop . Amazing vibes , very classy and suave environment. I loved the science feel and the knowledge presented. I had a great time rolling a fatty in there while listening to great music, as well as speaking to great People. My biggest regret was not coming sooner; I will definitely return! For the tourists, make sure you come out here roll a fatty, grab some coffee nearby, and smoke it while strolling down vandalpark right next to it(or grab the coffee there depending on the time), and yes ..waaaay better than the Bulldog, which I also enjoyed. Thank you guys at Coffeeshop Boerejongens for an amazing experience...I'll be back for sure!

What a really disappointing experience. I was hoping that this place really stood up to everything I had seen online from reviews and from Instagram. I walked through the door like an excited child in a sweet shop. To only be felt rushed by the bud tender who had about as much enthusiasm as a wet tissue. Asking what he would recommend to then have the menu pointed at. I already knew about the brownies which I ordered and enjoyed. The only thing that left a bitter taste in my mouth was the guy serving us, It was like every question was too much effort to answer. I had seen an Amsterdam Genetics hat online I wanted. I asked for one to be met with these are all we have. Nothing like try our other stores it was pretty embarrassing as I had bigged this place up to my two friends who were also not impressed. I won't rush back when I'm in Amsterdam to be made to feel like that again.

Me and my partner walked 25 minutes to go here specially, and it was 100% worth it! Unlike usual coffeeshops in Amsterdam this one is more like a dispensary/shop. The whole shop was clean, friendly and welcoming. The staff were very knowledgeable and were happy to help. However, the particular staff member we had kind of rushed us to buy a specific strain, which was a bit annoying but we werent disappointed as it was lovely stuff! We came here specifically for their famous edibles - incredible 10 out of 10! Highly recommend their edibles! Ive had edibles in Amsterdam before that didnt do anything, but the ones from boerejongens are wonderful! They took an hour to kick in, but I definitely preferred this to smoking. The taste is out of this world! Definitely worth the trip here. Try the edibles!

OK.. Been a few days since i went to the smoke session (12.00 1st Feb) so here's a little review.. Me and the GF arrived at the centrel shop (way too early first time do went for a cake n coffee) and we told to head upstairs. Once upstairs we were greater by Antonio and Marlies(think thats spelt correct) and one other american guy who lives in Amsterdam was on the session (sorry bro forgot your name) Smoke room is a copy room much like a humidor in Cuba... Relaxed but small

After introductions, Antonio went through the selection we were starting on... First Was The tangie G13 block, Great earthy flavours through the volcano and after a few bags was presently baked..

Next up lemon haze block, no this IS some tasty hash.. Starts with the same hash earthiness as the G13 but followed by a nice sour citrus taste.. (by this point I wasn't going anywhere in a hurry)

Next up was some flowers... Having purchased the black jack haze, Superamazin, amnesia and a cookie strain (sorry can't Remeber the full name) two days earlier from west boerejongens and all 4 of them being top shelf, I was looking forward to this one . Critical kush Was The strain and it didn't disappoint.... Such a good taste, Nice light coloured nugs and a real pungent kush aroma (found the kush in majority of other CS didn't have the best of any aromas, so this really stood out) ... At this stage Antonio produced one Of The organic additive free cigars to use for skinning with, the other chap knocked one up (while i sucked on the volcano some more).when passed the skin I was a little apprehensive about the cigar tobacco but on smoking it I was pleasantly suprised how smooth it was and how it didn't really tarnish the taste of bud!!

We continued on these 3 strains for a while before another bud was brought from down stairs.... This was strawberry banana I believe, the bud looked dense and well covered in crystals.

At this point the owner Of The shop paid a visit... But did not stop for long ( Sorry I forgot this ladys name too (bloody stoners hey)).

Unfortunatly I left not long after this and never tried the strawb as the Mrs really wasn't well ( genuinely ill as she don't smoke) but not before the doorman came say hello... (he's a big lad ain't he !!)

So to sum up my visit I'll say this

A great experience that anyone who gets the chance to attend should jump at, Antonio and Marlie's are both really informative and you can tell they both have real passion for the products. Venue is fantastic If not a little small but more than adequate for the purpose and them leather chairs are too comfy after a few volcanoes

I'll defenitly be dropping them an email before my next trip

Once again the farmers boys stood out head and shoulders above all the other shops I visited (only GA came close). Great shops, awsome informative staff, and now a great experience to...

I am divided with this place. On the one hand, It looks awesome, like a diamond bank, wood, cristal, golden lights, cordoned queues, very good looking. The staff in the counter are knowledgeable and friendly, the menu is good, although i missed some more american high end genetic options.

On the other hand, there is an extremely rude and unpolite 'bouncer' on a suit with an earpiece in the door, who really ruined the experience for me and made the place feel really uninviting, adding to the feeling of going to the bank or something. The place was not crowded or anything, mind you, and he looked like a club gorilla. He interrogated me as to what i was doing there (like, dude, what do you think i'm here for?? lol) and asked me for an ID although i am well over 40 and it clearly shows. I saw an empty staying area inside, so i asked him if i could stay there and have a coffe or something and smoke. He rudely replied that it is for smoking 'pure only', and some other random conditions, giving the clear vibe that he really did not want me to stay there at all. The staying room was cristalled, locked, and absolutely empty so i kinda passed. He then pressed me into getting into the cordoned queue or get the hell out his face. At that point i was about to bid farewell to his entitled unpolite face and leave, but the interior really piqued my attention so i endured and proceeded to get in the queue. And then, as the final delightful interaction with this really annoying person, he stopped me again and demanded i take my hat off, like i was going inside some kind of temple or something. I contained myself again, complied, and made my way to the counter. Got some of the top stuff they had, Kosher Tangie Haze, which as i said was pretty good, and got the hell out of there.

So, to sum up, great looking place and good menu, although maybe missing some more high end choices. The staff inside is friendly and knowledgeable. But the bouncer is really insufferable. It is not really neccessary in a place like that, gives a really bad impression to customers with his attitude, and also makes you unconfortable to...

Good Weed! Shame about the Xenophobic Staff Members

Boerejongens in my opinion is one of the best coffee shops in the city. Having visited all three coffeeshops, they have well trained staff that are there to help with your understand of the high that you want to achieve, is was one of the places to go, however, after my experience last night by one member of their team, I am doubting if we should return.

My husband and I are over here for 4 weeks to discover if we wish to make Amsterdam our permanent home. Although, we have been teaching ourselves dutch for the past 6 weeks & it is limited & as with everyone that learns a new language, struggles to implement what they have learnt. So despite our limited use of Dutch & trying to show respect, it was not enough for one member of staff serving us. Who's The body language and tone was as less than desired. With awkward smiles of other staff members, clearly showing their embarrassment at the situation.

Although Boerejongens promotes on its website that staff must speak dutch. I would have though that the Dutch Hospitality would also be a key driving factor towards customer service. I was disappointed to encounter such Xenophobic behaviour in a city that embraces multiculturalism.

I question if we would return to this establishment again given the service that...
