The Aruba Cruise Terminal is a vibrant hub that, while catering to tourists, might lean towards being overly touristy. The terminal's atmosphere is lively, with numerous vendors vying for attention. However, a downside is the prevalence of cheaper vendors, which may compromise the overall quality and authenticity of the shopping experience.

The terminal's layout is functional, ensuring a smooth flow of cruise passengers, but the sheer volume of tourist-focused shops can make it feel crowded. While the variety of offerings is extensive, from trinkets to local crafts, the emphasis on affordability may overshadow the opportunity for more authentic, higher-quality purchases.

Despite this, the terminal serves as a convenient gateway for exploring Aruba's attractions. Excursion options are readily available, allowing visitors to venture beyond the touristy terminal and immerse themselves in the island's natural beauty and culture.

The staff at the terminal, although accustomed to the hustle of tourism, remain courteous and helpful. They contribute to a positive experience for cruise passengers, offering assistance and guidance amidst the bustling atmosphere.

In essence, the Aruba Cruise Terminal provides a bustling introduction to the island, yet the prevalence of cheaper vendors might leave some seeking a more authentic and diverse shopping experience. Consider exploring the local gems beyond the terminal for a richer taste of...

I've travel with Royal Caribbean before an this review is based on that fact....

The room is quite comfortable, the bed is very big...the one thing about the Freedom of the seas, compared to other royal ships is that, there were no complementary water bottles (at least the first two) or any water, bottles or other wise, on the room. The staterooms staff, as always, super friendly and kind. The buffet, the windjammer, always with great selection of food. All though the staff were not always so friendly. The pool band, rhythm explosion, 5 🌟 good reggae band and the bar staff super friendly, all in all good service and atmosphere. Chops rest. Great service as always.

The ONLY bad thing I have to say is the DJ, DJ Bombay...🤦🏾‍♂️. DJ's are suppose to read the room and play music accordingly, not the case with him. I know that activities, either at the pool or any other place have an specific playlist, but when you are at the club/disco read the room and play accordingly, not just "requests" and if your on a caribbean cruise that leaves from Puerto Rico, where most of the people are Puerto Ricans in the ship, play some merengue, salsa, regueton, bachata not just hip hop.

One of the cruise entertainment crew, Felix, had a far more exiting playlist on his phone, and he put everybody, even Americans to dance on the pool.

All in all It was a good, pleasant experience , as always with Royal Caribbean, again...

This island is absolutely beautiful! Crystal clear, blue water, and you can see so many beautiful fish just looking off the terminal bridge. People are very friendly and helpful. The island has so much to see and so much to do. Loved visiting on the boat but plan to visit as a vacation soon! Visited the Wind creek seaport casino for a short time and we really enjoyed ourselves while there. The walking area around the cruise port had lots of shopping available. We stopped at Lucy’s retired surfers bar and restaurant. The nachos were amazing and we had a few drinks that were wonderful as well. If you stop by try Da’ Killer Blue whale, it was a good drink and even comes with a whale souvenir, the mermaid Water was an unexpectedly HUGE drink but very tasty as well! And if you’re up for a challenge, love free shirts and want to tell one helluva story you should try the infamous scorpion shot! Witnessed a few trying it and always had two on our group that did the shot and got their free shirts! You will enjoy your time spent at this stop for sure, It isn’t just the food and drinks, but the wonderful staff and the amazing views! The small part of the island I saw was beautiful can’t wait to visit again and see more of the island, beautiful water, wonderful people, and just the scenery itself!
