The Spot — Attraction in Zandvoort

Awful experience: I was there with a friend of mine on the sunny afternoon, enjoying sea and the beach ! We've decided to have a drink somewhere at one of many Beach Clubs , but due to the great weather everything was full . Luckily, we've found The Spot and there was a plenty of space available. We couldn't believe our luck and sat there for a beer or two ! We ordered an alcohol free beer and because of the medical reason , and very important doctors appointment 2 days later , my friend was very clear to stuff that it has to be 0.0 beer . By ordering our second 0.0 beer we took a look at the bottle and saw 0.5 % alcohol instead of 0.0% . We mentioned it to the stuff and their reaction was astonishing: "well, this is all beer we have and what's a difference between 0.0 and 0.5% really ? " Really? You could spoil a chemo shot for someone two days later, for example . It is so irresponsible situation!!! And stuff didn't care at all . All they wanted to make a quick buck out of this without any remorse . Duh, nobody wants to sit there anyway. Now I...

Fantastic place for rest or having fun. We spent a few hours there walking and sitting on sand. It was windy and cold, but a lot of people were there, enjoying windsurfing. It's clean, the sea is beautiful, and there are lots of cafés, bars, fast foods nearby. The beach is long and you can find the peaceful place for you and your family to enjoy the sun and the view. You can easily come here from Amsterdam by train. The station is just a few minutes far from the station. I suppose it's even more attractive during the summer, when the sea is wormer and you can enjoy swimming and sunbathing, but even on such a chilly day it was really pleasure to spend some time there. I dunno I used to love this place and it had amazing an excellent varied menu ( pre 2020 ).

The view is awesome too. The music is sometimes good sunset vibes but sometimes awful drivel.

Now you have to order from the awful app which makes for a complex and irritating experience when it doesn’t work smoothly and even if it does, it’s work I don’t want to be doing… wasn’t clear my payment had worked … and despite not being busy I had to chase 2 orders which had gone throhhh on the app but not been delivered to the bar.

The menu used to have way more stuff on it, like tuna steak burger which was amazing. But now they have barely any fish related dishes apart from Pokebowl …

The staff were nice but I didn’t feel the chill vibe...
