PAK'nSAVE Papanui — Attraction in Christchurch

My local supermarket I often visit, the car parks for a start can be difficult to navigate especially if you're in a large ute/truck. People don't tend to look or use indicators in the car park so can be a bit hectic especially in rush hour with people turning or pulling out without warning. It usually has what we need but on occasion have found the shelves can be not stocked on some things. Usually it's pretty good though and the check out operators I've dealt with in the past have been super kind and friendly which has been good. Today my wife was served at the checkout by this “kind” lady Miss Mary , but she had no smile and was very cold. I’m not sure if she thought my wife doesn’t speak English, because when she served the next white customer, she gave a big, friendly smile—very different from how she treated my wife.

She also assumed my wife used the wrong code for apples, but actually my wife was correct. After checking, the lady realized she was wrong, but she didn’t even say sorry.

Most staff in this store are usually very friendly, so I don’t understand why this lady showed such unacceptable behavior toward someone she may have thought doesn’t...

Self checkout worker named Ken is very rude and made my experience not so enjoyable judged me and my partner by our appearance.. told us where we had to go and watched us the whole time when an alert showed up on our system and he looked how many items we had scanned and he proceeded to count all our groceries as I was showing him where the last product was and he completely ignored me.
