HAMILTON LAKE DOMAIN An amazing place which has it all from the flower gardens, skate area, to the playground and park areas where there are swings and slides, to sand and a water feature. This runs down through the middle of the playground, for the children to pump water into a water trough and watch as it filters down and flows along a concrete culvert drain area. A Cafe and ice cream bar is a treat for those who would like a cafe fix or ice cream and drink refreshments and a huge grass area where friends and family can picnic on the lawn beside the park. For those who like to take a leisurely stroll or your more fitness conscious person, there is a track which surrounds the lake, you cannot swim or jetski in this lake. On the opposite side of the lake there is another playground, where a fitness area is stationed. The yachting/sailing club is situated here also. You can either walk around the lake from the domain or you can drive around. Overall a wonderful clean and respectful place to be enjoyed by everyone🙌🤩

Ultimate place to go for a stroll in a natural environment surrounded by a busy bustling city. The café is a must visit. With modern architecture and lots of space it's the perfect place to catch up with friends and family over a lovely cuppa and muffin. The ice-cream shop has been the number one spot for the yummiest huge (or small) ice-cream cones ever since I can remember. The lake boasts the best place for the children to explore and have fun. The play facilities here are safe and very user friendly. Mind you, the kids need to be watched for safety sake. Best of all, it's free. Picnic time in summer at the lake is just great. We used to take KFC and every takeaway imaginable to dine with. Our families and extended family would regularly visit here in summer. So. What's keeping you? Let's go to the Hamilton Lake for play, fun and good cheer. If you don't want to drive there, the Comet and Orbiter buses stop right there. When in season the Roses are absolutely stunning.

One of the things I appreciated most about Hamilton Lake Domain was how easy it was to access. The park is located just a few minutes' drive from Hamilton's city center, making it a convenient spot to visit if you're staying in the area. In addition to the walking and cycling tracks, the park also features a stunning rose garden, which is especially beautiful during the spring and summer months. If you're looking for something a little more adventurous, there are plenty of options to choose from. There's also a large adventure playground for kids, with slides, swings, and climbing frames. Overall, I would highly recommend Hamilton Lake Domain to anyone visiting the Hamilton area. The park is a wonderful place to spend a few hours, whether you're looking to get some exercise, relax and soak up the scenery, or enjoy some quality time with family and friends.

3 out of 5; Service was slow due to new staff on the day, I rated this cafe' overall and will re- review in the future. Don't forget to click like at the end of the review. Service; From kitchen to floor service was fast, although there was a mixup between my coffee orders. Service staff however were not on point. Tables were left piling up with dishes staff not attentive. Staff seemed more interested in event that was happening in the event room next door. Friendliness; Friendly staff and friendly service. Food; Great scones, great coffee on the day. I had a raspberry cheesecake, it was divine. Value for money; prices are ok for Hamilton, great value for money. Cleanliness; could be better, more attention to diners, wiping and clearing tables however. Please click like if you found this review helpful. Thankyou in advance :)

Always love a walk around the popular Hamilton Lake. Catch the sunset or sunrise, join a Saturday morning running or walking group. Mix of boardwalks and smooth pavement, flat and east for all ages and abilities. Dogs on leash permitted. An amazing playground next to the main Lake Cafe also very popular for families. There is a playground for tiny tots especially and another for young school age kids including water play. Drinking fountains, spaces for a picnic, lovely gardens and Lake wildlife all feature. Easy bus or walk from city centre, lots of parking from its many entry points. A hot weekend spot.catch the dragon boats, Waka ama or model remote control boats. 5,500 steps around approx.

Hamilton Lake is a beautiful and relaxing place to visit in the heart of the city. I always come here for a quick walk or run around the lake, which is about 3.5km long. The scenery is stunning, with water, trees, birds, and flowers. There is also a boardwalk section, playgrounds, and grassed parklands where you can have a picnic or play games. There is a cafe available near the lake where you can enjoy a coffee or a snack with a view of the water. The lake is also used for water sports such as sailing, canoeing, and dragon boating. Hamilton Lake Domain is one of Hamilton’s premiere parks and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable outing. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
