Not usually one to post reviews at all but I will think twice before eating here again. Despite joining a group booking (which had been forgotten) for 2pm there was little choice in the cabinet which was a bit disappointing. I chose a chicken, spinach and feta muffin - sadly, apart from the minimal and minescule pieces of spinach this was so incredibly bland, it could have been mistaken for a plain muffin. This made it somewhat dry despite adding butter. There was one tiny piece of feta and equally disappointing tiny piece of 'chicken' (actually looked and tasted like like ham). I see that I am not the first person to complain about the blandness. For a $7.50 muffin I was not impressed. I did eat it as I was hungry and thought I might find more ingredients as I went - I did not. Please do not skimp on ingredients/flavour. Plus, I had already requested a refund on the 'mocha' which was actually just a lukewarm, sugarless flat white with chocolate sprinkled on top only. I thought it was an error but the remake was exactly the same. I'm not sure what the staff think a mocha is but that was by far the absolute worst 'mocha' I have ever tried. I encourage you to compare your own mocha with that of other cafes. My personal experience was overpriced, low quality food and drink. Sorry, I hope others have a better experience.
Edit; further to your response, the staff looked confused when we mentioned the booking and we seated ourselves at the table we assumed was thrown together for us. The muffin did not include the ingredients as implied by the name so yes it was disappointing. The coffee was remade, as stated above, (still not hot) and while it did include added chocolate on top, there was ZERO chocolate IN the coffee - I have never had a Mocha that was not a mix of coffee/chocolate regardless of what is on top. A flat white with chocolate topping is NOT a mocha. It was clear after the 2nd drink that I was not going to get what i actually ordered so for the first time ever I requested a refund. Please educate your staff on what a mocha...

Read moreI had the most terrible experience at this Cafe, yesterday. I encountered a clearly irritated and unfriendly waitress who was more interested in conversing with her fellow workers than delivering quality service. I walked in, with my granddaughter (who is 2 years old) just as the staff were starting to pack up. Food was still in the cabinets and on the bench. The waitress said she couldn't serve me as all the food had been packed away. I mentioned that there was food on the servery where I stood and I needed to buy water for myself and my grand daughter and that she was hungry and thirsty. So the waitress agreed to serve me. I asked for two muesli slices and two 100 ml bottles of pump water. Which came to the grand total of $22.80. I have since googled the water and 9 can be bought for $10.00 from countdown. Obviously, the mark up on the water is huge and water is a basic necessity on a very hot day (especially for children). The slice was no bigger than 7 cm by 7 cm and I wasn't asked if I'd like cream with it. I think a reasonable price would be no more than $4.80 for the slice. And that is still expensive. The waitress couldn't focus on me long enough to ring up the amount and wait until I'd paid. Instead she had to have another conversation with a passing staff member (which appeared unnecessary). This involved walking away. I think a fair price to charge (which would still have been expensive) would have been $14.00. I'll never come back and I will tell all my friends and family how expensive your Cafe is and how unprofessional your staff are. The staff member that I interfaced with had absolutely no interest in customer care or delivering...
