The most beautiful marina I've visited in the Auckland region. On a sunny summer day you definitely feel like being at a Mediterranean marina! Lots of green fields surrounded by the turquois/blueish sea, Auckland city views in the far away horizon along with an amazing view of the Rangitoto island, balmy warm air - all magical!! There are regular ferry services to destinations such as Auckland CBD and to other small Hauraki Gulf islands like Tiri Tiri Matangi. Read moreI stay in the freedom camping part when needing a break in the area, for my 2 legal allotted days. I appreciate so much this space being made available. The issue can be that some others take advantage and overstay. Or park their utes beside their caravans, taking up a space from others who need it.That needs to stop. More respect for others, whether you drive a $200,000 'house' around, or a van. We vanners also all deserve the same respect that we give.
