Outdated and antiquated transfer/cancelation policy. We've been using the Art Facility for about 5 years now for holiday programs (my father in law for about 10 years off and on in the past), its been great up until this point. Our 11yr old got extremely sick on a Sunday afternoon with flu like symptoms, temp, cough runny nose. Took her to the Dr Monday afternoon at 4:15pm. Rung Tuesday morning around 10am to see if we could transfer her class for the following day to a day the following week (classes I could see had spaces available) to be told they have a 4 day change policy - so you're expected to know 4 DAYS before your child is sick to make any amendments. I would have thought in this day and age with covid/flu and being advised to stay home if unwell you policy would be more flexible. I could also understand if we just wanted to change with no valid reason - I offered to provide a Dr's certificate to show just how unwell our daughter is. With 4 children, $75 is a lot of money for us to just lose. Also the lady we tried to talk to about it was extremely unhelpful. The 3D art studio has classes and workshops for adults, teens kids. The Clay classes are particularly reasonable and the clay studio is a great space for beginners and intermediate artists.
