Mairangi Bay Beach is one of our favourite beaches on North Shore. It turns out to be a hidden gem! It’s the first time we have visited there on 3/2/2024 and we happened to fall in love with it. The water there was so clean and crystal clear. That’s why there were quite a number of people swimming, fishing and taking a stroll with their dogs along the beach while it’s at low tide period. We highly recommend you to visit there as you will definitely love this beautiful beach.

Another nice flat sandy beach on the North Shore. Surf life saving club currently receiving building maintenance. 5-6 fileted fish carcasses in tide line, the seagulls were having a good feed. Tried to brave the ocean for a swim & got hip deep, not brave enough to fully submerge, lastex ten minutes yet felt numb with the cold.

I love walking along Mairangi either through to Murray or Campbell Bay. You can take your dogs with you up to a certain time of day during the winter. Over the Summer time at high tide this beach is fantastic. My son loves playing in the lagoon if clean and building brisges etc. The water is lovely and clear and the beach offers small change rooms and plenty of cafes and fish n chip ships to grab lu ch or an evening dinner...

A great beach to come to a sit and relax, enjoy the most Beautiful views. Shops are very close by and you can get some coffee to come and relax and enjoy the beach and sea views. Near by is a play area for the young ones and public amenities. Good launch area for boats and there are numerous walkways. Will be back soo to again enjoy the beautiful...
