Murrays Bay Beach — Attraction in Hibiscus and Bays

The view was really nice I got to say! A mixture of cliffs, sky, and ocean, PERFECT. I went fishing here a couple of times, I could tell every fishermen or women that summer is the best time to fish here because in the colder times of the year theres barely anything! I love how the fish bait preparing trays are provided, and how theres also a diving place there. A problem with the diving place, it's a little close to where people are fishing so if the person is not paying attention they might get tangled in the transparent fishing line or worse, getting a hook stuck on their arm or leg! Always a beautiful place to visit as I enjoy my late drives and when Mairangi is a bit packed at night and I'm talking like after 10pm, then I come here to chill N gather my thoughts. Have a bit of a swing as well hahaha. It's a nice place to just watch the world pass you by while you reflect N chill ✌. The wharf is well lit N you can see a few ppl on there fishing N doing their thing. It's quite dark n a light or 2 would be nice however very chill atmosphere especially late in the evenings when I'm just roaming around for a bit of peace....

Love this beach, it has toilets, an outdoor shower, a pier to jump off or fish, changing rooms available onsite. The beach is nice and sandy, there is also a smaller pond sheltered for the kiddies to swim on the right for safety. Our family had a picnic here and loved that all amenities were available and beach was close.. Found no issues here at all, it's clean to swim in and close to town. Will definitely be back and we'll down council and residents in the area...
