A good place for recreation. There are wild ducks, a grove of beautiful trees, playgrounds for kids, and some shops where you can buy snacks and drinks. A spacious car park is also available to park your car in carefree. There are public toilets for your convenience too. It is indeed a nice spot to feel the delicate idyll of the nature while breathing a fresh air in relax. Kids are very excited and happy to feed the wild ducks too. I recommend not to feed bread or other food that might be harmful or not healthy to them. Corn and peas are better and the ducks really like them. The forest of trees are very beautiful in this season like autumn where they change the color of their leaves. The place can be one of the photographing sites at least for the amateurs. The streamlet which flows along the park adds the pleasing senses of the sceneries too. You can also watch a group of eels swimming or resting in the stream from the bridge near to the football field. There are two playgrounds nearby providing a lot of choices for the kids to play. The super market there is also handy for you in case you need something to buy. The stylists in the Sherwood hair studio there are very professional and I like to cut my hair there. The place currently is under some naturalization works and you might encounter some fences in some places for now. But you still can enjoy that amazing...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem on the North Shore!
Sherwood Reserve is one of those places that makes you feel like you've discovered a secret oasis in the middle of suburbia. It’s got everything – a beautiful duck pond, shaded walking paths, a cool wooden playground for the kids, and plenty of grassy areas to picnic or kick a ball around.
What I love most is how peaceful it is. Even on a busy day, there’s enough space to find your own quiet corner. The native trees and little bridges give it a storybook vibe – perfect for strolls, drawing inspiration, or just letting the kids explore.
Bonus: there's usually plenty of parking nearby, and it’s just a short walk to Browns Bay shops if you want to grab a coffee or bite after. Or get a quick haircut, grab fish n chips or anything from the dairy.
Highly recommend for families, walkers, or anyone needing a quick nature break without...
Read moreDesperately needs a maintainence check. The wood chips ( which seriously should be changed to the material used on the beach playground ) wash down the hill/paths after heavy rain. Not safe for those who have difficulty walking. Also an excellent place for animals to defecate, The sun shields over the picnic tables have disappeared. There is a wooden seat on the path that is broken . It's been like that some time now. The bridge over the creek down from the playground needs serious maintainence after heavy rain . Branches, weeds. Bottles, plastics, etc. are washed down from goodness knows where. And have nowhere to go but on or...
