Dong Chun Hong Korean Chinese Restuarant — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

Food is at a passable level. Not that tasty. I did not like the noodles as they were not long and kept on cutting when I was trying to eat. Additionally, the main problem was the service. We went there approximately 1 hour before they close. When we arrived at the restaurant, they were really busy and I totally understand. We stood at the front door for one minute, the FOH employee saw me. The first thing she said to me was not "welcome" or "have a seat". Instead, she said to me that we only have black soy bean noodles and spicy noodle available, with no apology before she said these. We were really disappointed by this level of service and they made me feel they don't want to take my business and hence making me feel not valued as a customer...

Thought we'd try somewhere new, and the reviews seemed to be good. Busy little place with a good vibe and friendly service. Our host was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the food wasn't to our liking. We got the Couples Meal. The hot and sour chicken was nice, but very heavily battered and with negligible vegetable content. The black bean noodles was sickly thick and bland tasting - like a jar of hoisin poured over noodles. The seafood noodles had good spice heat, and the noodles themselves were nice. But the seafood and broth were very 'seafood-y' in a not good way.

One of My Favourite Korean Restaurants

This place has become one of my go-to Korean spots. We always order the Couple Set . it’s great value and easily feeds 3 to 4 people. The portion sizes are generous, which is perfect for sharing.

I’m always torn between the Fried Pork with Sweet & Sour Sauce and the Fried Chicken with Hot & Sour Sauce. Both are delicious,

Another dish I really enjoy is the Sautéed Seafood on Rice with Spicy Sauce. It’s packed with flavour, and the seafood is cooked perfectly.
