Ormiston Town Centre — Attraction in Howick

Came here with my sister and her 2 month old baby. We used the parents room and there was a male security guard who stood outside the curtain rooms where my sister was breastfeeding and claimed he was doing a “welfare check”, obviously there was nothing to check on because me and my sister were talking aloud while in the room. After supposedly doing his welfare check he kept pacing back and forth, I could see his shoes from under the curtain. It was really creepy like he was waiting for us to come out. After my sister was done feeding we walked out to find the “security guard” laying down taking a nap on play area bench. This was such an uncomfortable experience for us and we did not feel safe, if anyone were to do a welfare check in the area women would be breastfeeding would it not be more appropriate if it were a woman. After we woke him up from his nap he sat in that area until after we had changed my nieces nappy, was giving very predatory behaviour. I will be following up with management and retrieving CCTV footage to see how long he was in there. Very nice complex with delightful businesses and mostly happy and convenient people . I've always enjoyed shopping here as it is my local shopping center. Unfortunately I was wrongly accused and tresspassed for assaulting a staff member which almost made me blow my top. I'm not to sure who is in control of this premises but I'll make it very clear to you that I have been nothing but a good citizen and have served the ormiston community in ways that benefit the environment and social awareness. Unfortunately this is one of the most inconvenient , inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour I have witnessed in our society within auckland so far and I'm not impressed what so ever. I will investigate red badge and the operation of this premises further . Beware of throwing wild accusations as this could lead to an unwanted response and could lead to someone getting hurt if this behaviour continues all it takes is for your security to accuse the wrong person and the reaction may not be as kind and compliant as my own , just a friendly reminder for your security , doesnt matter what size they are those accusations could lead to serious...

The outrageously good (XXXXing mind blowing) kebab shop, a daring ram raid (I wasn't involved) and opening The Warehouse store (with the best store manager in the business) are the fondest memories I have of this place. Otherwise there's nothing special about a strip mall, it's standard fare where you're enticed to spend your dollar on the proverbial things to impress people you don't know with things you don't need. Well, I dont know many people but like to impress and wanted to do it with a flash pair of kicks. My eye caught a particularly fresh pair of white Nike sneakers which would definitely impress people and were cheaper than my last drive-thru run. Now, wherever I go, people come up and congratulate me on my fine taste and marvel at my keen sense of economy. Since they don't know me, they wouldn't care that I drove close to 35kms to get these shoes. So much for economics and luckily my EV was fully charged, getting lost on the way home day dreaming would've rounded...
