I just wanted a quick meal after buying some tools, read 'Lechon' on Google maps, and could not ignore the place!
Usually I jump to talk about the food first but... The staff, there were two guys working there when I took my order, both were real nice people, super friendly to regular customers and to a fresh face such as mine. And I don't mean 'customer service friendly', they were legitimately friendly.
I had the Dinuguan and the Brick Express. Damn, I hadn't had good lechón in ages, so I might be biased, but it was so damn good, and the rice was a must to have to help with the meal, in my case I feelt it was the right amount of rice for the lechón provided.
Price, tough not necessarily cheap, it's not an expensive meal, specially considering how filling it is, and that it's good damn lechón, so I feel the price was fair.
The atmosphere in the place was quite good for a joint that's more geared to a takeaway. I like supporting small businesses where the food is good, or the staff are fine folk, Pipo's Lechón combines both! Whenever I have to come to the area for business again, I'll definitely get me some lechón here again!
(Sorry, no picture of the food, was too busy eating it to think...
Read moreMe and my wife just bought some pork dishes which consists of bicol express, dinuguan and binagongan all of these dishes are poor quality. The dishes doesn’t even taste like it was supposed to. Very disappointing. It’s very disappointing when you have a franchise that doesn’t even make authentic taste or even comes closer to it. I felt like after eating it I had to drink aspirin as it’s mainly fat tasting dishes. Come on pipo listen to your viewers and do something or hire someone who can cook. It’s very embarrassing to other cultures who wanted to taste our cultural dishes and be...
