Murphy Park Children's Playground — Attraction in Māngere-Ōtāhuhu

30Oct16 Since 1994 over the years of going to the Salvation Army Otahuhu Corps Church and helping with church kids this playground has got better and better funding by Auckland City so that the equipment and maintenance is very good. This is a safe-playing playground but not a safe-staying playground so little children should never be left here by themselves. Children ought always to have their parents or responsible adults on watch because the big Murphy Park ground is right next door through the screen of bush and brush and there sometimes are homeless people and aimless looking adults hanging...

A used but we'll kept playground within easy reach of the motorway if you're travelling with a little one. Close to a kindy, school and rugby pitch.

We visited at lunch and there were a few girls visiting from the local senior school who were no trouble.

Gave it a four star for the space to hold events and areas you relax and enjoy with your family and friends. Walking distance to the mall, minutes to the motorway. And my grandson enjoyed trying out all the areas at the park, even the exercise equipments🤣
