We took our infants and toddlers for an enjoyable day out in Rotorua! While our children under one did not fully grasp the experience, our toddlers thoroughly enjoyed it. Admission is free for children under five, and the cost for two adults is $50, which some may find a bit steep. To maximize the experience, it is advisable to engage with the photo opportunities and experiment with various poses. Some artworks include tutorial images on the walls to guide visitors on suggested poses.

Interestingly, it took us until halfway through our visit to realize we were not fully utilizing the available poses, indicating a need for more inspirational images to help guests better understand how to engage with the artwork. The staff were friendly, and ample parking was available. Although there is a playground suited for older children—our toddlers struggled to engage with it—we found the overall experience to be worthwhile and thoroughly enjoyed...

I have heard about this review. I am the mum who ignored the rules apparently. My son was accused of legs hanging off the back I didnt see it but he was sad he was accused we kept looking at the girl.infront of us as I didnt even see how he was accused of that and no way was he having a party like he was also accused. then he was shadow boxing to himself as we were waiting to move and he was told to calm down he would scare the animals which seemed very OTT and I def ignored that, the driver at that point was humiliating us. I honestly felt he was being picked on but itold him that halfway when i realised this guy is not going to stop picking at him. this has turned sour and i wasnt after that but if uve called me a bad parent basically then I am here to...

This is one of the most unusual but refreshing places in Rotorua. We visited this after online recommendations and to utilise time when it was raining heavily outside. We were not disappointed at all. The wait time to enter was about 10 mins or so, but after that we ended up spending an hour and a half clicking pictures and giggling on the interesting artefacts on display. The ticket prices are genuine and completely worth it. The location is easily accessible by road and very close to Skyline luge. Ample parking is available on site. Nearby there is an animal farm where one can see ostriches running around, which is an interesting experience for kids. Highly recommended for families and every age.

Finally something new and exciting to enjoy in Rotorua! Having visited for Roto Vegas for nearly 30 years from Auckland, 3D Trick Art Gallery is a long-awaited welcome addition to the Rotorua attractions. The 3D Trick Art Gallery is very fun - you can spend as much time as you want taking photos against a wide range of paintings tailored for New Zealand. The quality of the paintings are very good. We found that taking a video as well as photos make it more fun - especially the big room at the end of the tour makes great video. I would highly recommend the 3D Gallery followed by the Heritage Farm Tour. The animals are cute and the lunch was good! Can't recommend enough!

I think I overrated this place in my head. Although it was kinda fun, not everyone could be in the picture as you constantly needed someone to hold the camera. An offer/rental of a tripod would be fantastic (Def take one) the art is in some places overlapping and we had people walking in front of us while we were trying to get pictures. Also because of the amount of people all in 1 area it was hard not to feel pressured I to moving on. (We possibly could have returned to the area) overall we had a few laughs and got a few pictures. Will probably return again in a few years
