We did the 2.30pm farm tour today and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Natalie and I along with all 5 kids enjoyed the tractor ride and the commentary from Karl. Karl was an amazing host. His tour was exceptional, entertaining and everyone had lots of time to get off the tractor trailer and feed the animals. He even enrolled our 6 year old boy Owen as his farm hand. Bring footwear that you dont mind getting a little dirty. When get off the tractor and amongst the animals you are bound to get a little bit of dirt on them. You can hand feed the sheep, alpaca, and goats. There's excellent washing up facilities at the end so dont let it put you off. There's other animals to see as you ride around. It's well worth the money spent and for only a little extra you can enjoy the 3D art display as well. Just posting a few photos for now.

The kids absolutely loved their farm tour today. The animals are all so friendly and the kids were awestruck at how they were able to cuddle the animals and then watch the awesome dog show at the end of our tour. Karl is a fantastic guide and gives a great educational talk as well making it a fun experience, he has an awesome personality and throws a few funny things in their to get a giggle out of us all! He was absolutely fantastic with the children, really making sure to include them in every aspect and boost their confidence if they were a bit shy with the animals. Highly recommend this farm tour and show as opposed to others that i have been to!

We had an awesome time on the farm tour. I loved being so close to all the friendly animals. There was plenty of feeding and petting involved, which really made my day. The highlight was definitely being surrounded by the alpacas. Thanks to our excellent guide, Katie, I learnt a lot about the different types of cows and sheep. She was superb and kept the mood high despite the intermittent rain. She also made sure that no one was left out during the tour. Thanks Katie!

Partners' hands got bitten by ostrich, and animals explained blantely as meat to young kids. Read on.

Good tour, until the children's faces are shocked and upset every time the tour guide pointed out each cute animal and then how they are going to be killed "harvested" into meat. Could do without upsetting the kids who are here to see cute animals and don't want to be told the animals are in your Mcdonalds burgers. Perhaps look at your audience, which was all parents with young children here to feed animals. Perhaps focus more on animal facts.

Another pointer would be to explain how to feed the animals before people get off the truck. Not blame your customers and say they fed them before you explained even though you're the one giving the food to them first. My partners entire hand got snapped up by an ostrich and bled due to it. Although she didn't complain, we were glad she tried first so we could tell the kids not to do it. I'd hate to think the damage it could do to a child's hand. The guide noticed this and loudly said, "Oh look, people feeding them before I explain," but she'd already handed food to several people???

I'll rate 3 stars because if you're adults, it's probably alright. Wouldn't bring my kids here...
