Achilles Point is a must-visit destination! The views from the top are simply spectacular, offering panoramic vistas of the Hauraki Gulf. The walk down to the beach is an easy, enjoyable stroll, and the beach itself is a hidden paradise.

The golden sand and clear water are perfect for a refreshing swim or simply relaxing and soaking up the sun. The cliffs surrounding the beach add to the dramatic beauty of the area, making it a photographer's dream.

The historic significance of the area, with its connection to the Māori people, adds another layer of richness to the experience.

Achilles Point is a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, offering a serene and beautiful environment that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It's a perfect spot for a picnic, refreshing walk, or simply to connect with nature.

Don't miss the chance to experience this...

The lookout point has a beautiful view, with the best breeze and shade during summer. This also happens to look over an nudist beach called Ladies bay... Tip: If your interested in going to Ladies bay beach and you've reached the wooden walkway of Achilles point, looking over the cliff and down to Ladies bay then you've gone to far up the hill. The walkway and I think the only entry point to Ladies bay is less than 100 metres down the road. I've only been to Achilles point twice and both times, I've seen groups of people walk around or jump over the barriers to try and go down to Ladies bay. It's straight up dangerous and I think that the council should put up a info board at least. Just to mark where you are at that point and maybe info of the surrounding areas/beaches.. Enjoy and have a...

Although i visited this place in the evening. The VIEW was insanely BEAUTIFUL at night especially with the lights beaming from auckland city and i can only imagine how stunning the view is in the mornings. Had accompanied family friends to Mission Bay before reaching this point. Ohh boy was it breezy and so chilled that night but enjoyed and soaked up every moment. It wasn't crowded, i was able to enjoy the scenery before leaving to grab dinner. Unfortunately i only have just this one pic to show for but i can already imagine how it looks coz i had visited the area. If you're out in Mission bay, do stop by achilles point for the view and scenery. Thats it for me. Y'all...
