I made a special trip to the museum in the late afternoon after they printed an article in the local paper and wow what a trip back in time. The caretaker was so knowledgeable about the area. After spending about a half hour with her, she only showed me a couple rooms full of nostalgia and memorabilia, I was starting to feel like she was wasting her time on little ol me. She was just totally focused on giving me a great tour. You can also pickup and handle some items in there, making this place pretty unique. Another thing that stood out was the fact that, although they have soooo much stuff in there it is very well kept. I highly recommend a visit here. It's free or a donation which is great.
