Sir Keith Park Memorial Aviation Collection — Attraction in Waitematā

Historic and amazing site which holds a very important snapshot of New Zealand's history. While there aren't a lot of aircraft or displays what few they do have here are quote often extremely rare. For example 1 of 4 Sutherland aircraft and the beautiful Lancaster bomber. Would be good if they improved the airflow I to this building as it can get extremely hot and makes visitors want to leave quickly rather than taking in everything. My son loved the tram ride, we all did and the Aviation Hall, hes a great fan of all those airplanes. Just one thing the hall was dark so it was not easy to have a good look really, but they are well looked after and amazing to see the care put in to every feature in that Aviation Hall. A nice park in the middle of the runabout within MOTAT Aviation area. Just a very short walk from the tram station, MOTAT Aviation Hall, and the MOTAT parking spaces.
