The ce teal park of Granada is a beautiful place to visit and safe. You will find a great selection of food vendors and your typical vigoron (which I would recommend the food stand that is near Hotel colonial for the best vigoron, I've had the vigoron from all four and this is 100% the best and won't rip you off). You will also find shoe shiners (highly recommend a shoe shine to speak with an old guy whose been a shoe shiners for over 40 years and has so much history to tell, he is located near "casa del café"). You will find horse carriages to take trips around the city and sculptures made by famous Nicaraguan artist. During the night, although it looks slightly scary, don't worry, police is always near by so don't worry about walking there at night, you will be safe. I truly enjoy being near.

If your looking for a souvenir to take home your sure to find one here. Take the time to find a drink and a bite to eat from the local vendors and sit down and watch all the coming and going. Within a minute or two you will have a smiling face trying to sell you anything from hats to whistles to magnetic rocks from the Masaya Volcano as well as pottery and the kid who makes flowers and grasshoppers out of palm leaves. The food we had was good but the best was the Cacao drink. Lots to see and things to do.

The central park of Granada is a very nice place, you can appreciate the architecture of beautiful colonial city of Granada. You can visit different museum such as the impressive Museum of Art and Archeology, Mi Museo. Also, you can take a tour ride in a horse-drawn carriage. You can walk through the city and enjoy the typical food and drinks of Nicaragua such as, El tiste (drink of corn) and vigorón (typical dish originated in Granada, made with Chicharrón, yucca and salad)

This is an amazing little city. People here can not be more welcoming. They are around you selling handcraft and playing music but they don't overwell you. They respect your space and let you enjoy the scenary how ever you like. There are very fine restaurants and great bars to eat and drink as you please. The variety is great and the atmosphere could not be more relaxing and welcoming. I really enjoyed this visit to Granada. What a great place to know.

Always a fun time to stroll around or relax in the town square. We spent a little under 2 months Granada and visited the square r on most days. I enjoyed a hamburger or little ice cream while watching time pass. The surrounding cathedrals are epic and it's fun to watch the local vendors selling their wares. Give yourself at least an hour to sit back and relax. Make sure to bring some water as it can become brutally hot and humid during peak months.

We stayed in a suite. It was really spacious, and pretty comfortable. The pool is nice. It's a bit shallow, but that didn't bother me. I didn't have time to use any of the spa services unfortunately. Parque Central is right outside. It was really loud at night, and also early in the morning, but that's not the hotel's fault
