We came to this restaurant because it was recommended by a man giving tours of Granada. The first time I came to eat here I had some of the best steak and smoothies I’ve ever had. Service was great and the place was clean and beautiful. The second time I went with my girlfriend and we decided to sit in the garden area. It’s a beautiful view and you can also see to the kitchen through the window. I heard the chef talking about my order so I decided to look over and saw that he was eating fries off my plate with his bare hands. Very disgusting and not professional or hygienic. When I got my meal I cut into the steak that I ordered medium rare and it came to me completely raw (as seen in photo) my girlfriend tried to wave down staff 2 times it was a tall large man (only big guy serving) and he looked at her and completely ignored her both times. We had to then get up and walk to a different staff member who was very professional and listened to our concerns. (Don’t know his name but he was pretty small and always had a smile on his face) He agreed that it was not okay and didn’t charge us for our meals. I don’t think this is a restaurant problem more so than a bad chef and one bad server. First experience was 6/5 stars and the second one was 1/5 stars. I give this place a 4/5 because of the first experience and how well the second experience was handled. Best food in Granada but it’s at the...

I cannot say enough amazing things about Garden Café — this place is truly a gem! Every time I come here, I’m instantly greeted with warm smiles, a cozy atmosphere, and food that tastes like it was made with pure love. The staff is amazing. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I am greeted walking through that door. Alex, Erick, and Byron make it there mission to make me feel welcomed. Let’s talk about the pasta — because oh my goodness, it’s divine. I get it every single time, and I swear it somehow tastes even better with each visit. Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and always so fresh — you can tell they use the best ingredients. It’s comfort food with a touch of elegance, the kind of dish you dream about days later. The vibe of the café is unmatched — peaceful, charming, and full of life. Whether I’m there with friends or just treating myself, it always feels like the perfect little escape. The service? Beyond incredible. Everyone is so kind and attentive, they make you feel right at home.Byron always serves us fast, and makes every costumer feel welcome. Hes very outgoing and always up to talk to us. He works very hard to make every table he has is kept clean. He is constantly checking on us, and making sure everything is good. I appreciate the staff being...

We spent a day in Granada, and that restaurant was so many times on top of any list that you would google top restaurants. In my opinion, that should not be even on top 10. The service was okay. Nothing outstanding and not bad. We had to wait for a while till our server came but it was very busy so all is fine. The food was okay. Nothing wow. We had 2 different pastas, burgers, and salat. Burger where rally dry, but I guess they use different lean/fat ratios, and there were no sauces on the burger, so you apply ketchup or mayo yourself. So in the end, the location was okay, food was not oh wow and bot terrible. Everything was like yeah okay nothing special, and nothing terrible but what tipped the whole experience to terrible was the prices. There is no way you get what you pay for. You pay way too much. You notice that because their menú is all in Dollars, and its just too much. It's like going to Subway and getting a sub, and you have to pay $30 for a footlong sub. Come on, the sub is good, but 30 bucks for that. It's just not worth it. It's the same way i feel about that restaurant. Food is okay and the rest is fine but not worth the money you will...

THE BEST CAFE IN GRANADA! I cannot express how much I love this place. I visit multiple times throughout the week they are amazing. Their food is amazing! I would say a decently wide variety of options out there! I personally love their hamburger, the pickle sauce that comes with it is DELICIOUS! Their deserts are perfection! They have a cutest cafe in there with a display of some pastry options. They also have a cute little shop to shop around in with SO MANY GOOD FINDS! Another favorite is they have books you can borrow or exchange! I think that is such a fun little addition! But the best is their employees! Going to other cafes or restaurants in Granada I can easily say this place has the best employees. They are so attentive to every need/ want! They are so understanding especially towards language barriers! Almost all of their employees understand English very well, and a lot can speak it. I know for me and some of my friends who have come Byron has been our favorite! He serves us almost every time and has been nothing short of perfection! Erick, Alex, and Jose always greet us with a friendly face! EASILY best place!

This is, without exaggeration, the worst restaurant experience I've had in Nicaragua and possibly one of the worst in Central America. I have to assume that the majority of the reviews for this place are purchased by bots/review services. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why it is so highly rated. I'm only awarding it two stars, and not one, because it had some pretty good smoothies. In terms of value, this was the most expensive meal my partner and I purchased in our 8 days in-country. The green vegetable curry was so devoid of flavor and seasoning that I added an unacceptable amount of salt, pepper, and hot sauce to it only to make it taste like... something! Anything! I'm so grateful that we had this meal our first night and literally every dining experience after this was an improvement in taste, value, and plating. If you want bland, overpriced food and a quiet atmosphere, this place is for you.
