Stor og romslig kirke i hjertet av Tønsberg med mye historie. Rikt gudstjenesteliv og mange flotte konserter. Ikke minst den tradisjonsrike orgelmatineen. Kirken er ikke av de mest prangende, men rommer mange skatter fra tidligere kirker. Spesielt prekestolen og alteret er verd ey studium. Spesielt er også mønsteret i taket.

Nydelig intim kirke. Var der i bryllup. Kirken ligger på de gamle tuftene til Lavranskirken fra 1100 tallet, og ble bygd på første halvdel av 1800 tallet.
