Pablo Arguedas Park — Attraction in Lima Metropolitan Area

The playground is a bit run down and fills up fast on the weekends. The older kids were generally patient with my toddler when he wanted to go down the slide. If you're looking to get in some quick birdwatching, you might be able to have some success here in the mornings. I saw 7 different species on a Sunday afternoon while the park was noisy...

There's no bathroom! The park is full and there are merchants everywhere but God help you if you need to use the restroom. This has to be the dirtiest thing about Lima. You can be in a nice neighborhood but it doesn't matter how much money you have... The government doesn't exist here...

Un verdadero peligro, el último sábado 6 nov. Vimos que han colocado en varias zonas del parque cercos con cuerdas delgadas casi imperceptibles, aparentemente para proteger las plantas pero contrariamente, no protegen la integridad de las personas que acuden a ese lugar. El amigo de mi hijo se cayó sin percatarse del cerco y sé fracturó la mano, tuvieron que operarlo. Durante nuestra permanencia en ese parque, vimos otros dos accidentes más por causa de esos cercos. Los CERCOS DEBEN ESTAR SEÑALIZADOS CON CINTAS LUMINOSAS DE SEGURIDAD más aún porque este parque es bastante concurrido por niños especialmente. La Municipalidad de Miraflores debe corregir este sistema de cercos, que son un peligro sin perjuicio de hacerse responsable por todos estos...
