Madam Tusan — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Nice atmosphere and decent tasting food, but most of the food was much too salty which other reviewers have pointed out. However the main reason we won't go back as when we asked to pay, our server asked if I wanted to add a tip, but this restaurant already adds a 10% service charge to the bill. I tried to explain to the server that there is already a "tip" in the form of the service charge (along with "tax" that is not supposed to be charged to foreigners like us) but he disagreed. It was a very awkward and uncomfortable moment that I've never experienced in 40 years of world travel. Every other server already understands that when there is a service charge that this takes the place of the tip, and its extremely odd for a server to ask for one in any case. Between the demand for an extra gratuity and the inappropriate tax charge, it felt like were getting scammed and made the whole experience...

Was so excited to try this place with my gf and our dog but was met with unpleasant and unprofessional employees at this establishment.

First, we came here because it said dogs were allowed when you search this place on Google. I explained this to the old lady Senora with blonde hair, and she sarcastically said “we’ll fix that.” And one of the three younger employees started laughing immediately after. As a visitor from another country not speaking the language, I felt very uncomfortable and felt the Senora was very RUDE. And then to laugh. They started speaking in Spanish and felt like they were talking about us. This was a horrible experience and would not recommend anyone to go here. They do not make customers feel welcome, especially those outside...

I came here because of the great reviews and was looking forward to trying it, but the service left me very disappointed. I arrived with four others and we were seated right away, which was a good start. Unfortunately, it took 15 minutes before our server came over. Since the menu was vague, we asked for more time. After that, nearly 30 more minutes went by without anyone checking on us, even though our server stopped at the table right next to us.

In total, we sat for 45 minutes without ever placing an order before deciding to leave. It’s hard to recommend a place that leaves guests waiting this long without attention. We ended up at Kion instead, where the service was prompt and the experience...
