I recently tried SumoSam and had a mixed experience. The tonkatsu dish was a prime example. It didn't have the appealing golden brown crisp color shown in the photos, which was initially disappointing. However, the taste more than made up for it, proving to be delicious and well-prepared.
The mango lemonade, on the other hand, was a letdown. The flavors didn't blend well, resulting in a drink that wasn't as refreshing or enjoyable as expected.
The dessert also missed the mark. It was overly sweet and soupy, which made it difficult to enjoy fully. The texture and sweetness level were not well balanced.
