its convenient and the staff are friendly....prices aren't low, but some of that is due to inflation....good variety of products....kind of too spread out however, and need to plan shopping to not backtrack and waste time....biggest problem is management.....they don't staff or monitor check out lines and (a) there aren't enough open, and (b) there often aren't enough baggers helping bag products and the register checker has to do it herself sometimes, slowing down all people in line...when this happens, there is DEFINITELY workers standing around not doing ANYTHING in other aisles because those aisles are closed or waiting for VIP customers (VIP service should NEVER make other customers VNIP, "very NOT important people")....other things like waiting until customer has paid and ready to leave after long shopping experience to WAIT until any electrical item is UNBOXED and CHECKED for performance....WHY DON"T THEY DO THIS WHILE THE CUSTOMER IS SHOPPING ????...why does the customer HAVE TO WAIT after they have already paid and been at store for 1-2 hours ?????.....also, the store should monitor front entrance from beggars and loiterers who pester exiting...
Read moreSM Hypermarket Cainta Branch is located just in front of Village East Executive Homes and beside BDO Cainta Branch. Familiar with the old MAKRO in the late 90s? If I am not mistaken, it is the first membership store in the Philippines before SnR and Landers. It is now converted to this SM Hypermart. There are other stores and outlet inside like DIY, North Park, Watsons, Goldilocks, etc. They have also a wide variety of food kiosks available, making this branch a go to supermarket for all essentials. Free parking is available, infront and big open space at the back. One con, the back parking area needs road repairs. There are many pot holes and if it is raining, it cause big inconveniences to the customers. They are renovating their grocery area, hope they also improve the back parking as well. When we approached Customer service section, 3 laidies, not approachable not friendly, no iinitiative to ask, i was standing there in front of them, one is busy on keyboard, 2 ladies just walking around. Waites a while for someone to attend to me. Then i asked one of them and was told tl wait for the ladyon the keyboars.
We bought sylvana and san rival. The prices were 90 and 84. But when we paid, the prices were 114 and 90. We told the cashier and she said the in the POS is the correct one.
I guy tried to help clarify, got the tag price from the freezer section, but said the price tag isno longer valid and thePOS price is the correct one.
Also found so many expired sylvana and sans rival still in the display area.
Very dis appointing considering there s just few customers
