ย ย ย Read moreThere aren't many choices for restaurants or shopping here and it is always crowded. But it has the essentials for household needs, e.g., SHOPWISE, furniture and appliance shops; and medical needs, i.e., MERCURY DRUG, WATSON'S & MEDICAL DEPOT.
It's an extra bummer when it rains like it did today. The chances of one getting wet is high as people scramble to walk under cover while they share the limited space with al fresco diners.
The range of activities available here have improved over the years, nonetheless. It now houses SAMSUNG PERFORMING ARTS THEATER, for one, and DREAM LAB for kids of all ages. Cosplays and animรฉ conventions are regularly staged here too
There is still no department store so patrons just have to make do with the options a number of international retail brands offer. Thrift shops for fashion items are likewise available and tiangges regularly pop up especially around Christmas time.
This mall is a go-to place of not only Makatizen health buffs and families but of those from other cities as well who enjoy the surrounding open spaces for exercise, walks and picnics.
Being close to the Makati City Hall and very accessible to Makatizens via public transport, this mall also serves as alternative venues for basic transactions with some government agencies like the PSA and COMELEC (seasonal). The COVID-19 vax site for Makati LGU can also be found here.
There is a nice view of the Makati CBD skyline at the top floor. Access it directly, along with the Ayala Cinemas and Timezone, via the elevator between...
ย ย ย Read moreSince I'm at our Vet in Edison St, in Buendia, on a weekly basis with a 2 hour wait for my dog doing rehab there, I needed a place to go to for lunch. Tried heading towards the Ayala area but traffic was horrendous. So I thought of coming here as it was 20 minutes away. This mall is a surprise, tucked away with an SnR beside it and a Shopwise inside. Tons of restaurants to eat at, first time I went around 2pm, most were empty, as was the mall too. Second time I came later in the afternoon there were more people in the mall, restos not so much. Would think dinner it would be busy. They have Uniqlo and H&M, as they're right up front. Haven't really explored other shops but it's a mix. When you walk towards the back to their large outdoor space, you do see several empty store spaces. So staying up front is where all the activity is but restos do line the ground and second floors on either side all facing the indoor open area with water feature in the middle which runs through the whole mall. Only the front of the mall has the enclosed airconditioned building and happy to say floor layout here not as confusing as their other malls like Trinoma. This is an interesting mall tucked away, occupying the old San Lazaro race course. If your on the other side of Makati and the highway in the Dian st., area this is easiest to get to. I used to go to Cash and Carry but it gets old really fast so Circuit has a lot more to offer, food and shopping wise. Love that they're also cat friendly and you'll see them all over...
